Mohilary to lay foundation of UCO RSETI at Kokrajhar The Sentinel KOKRAJHAR, February 25: BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary on February 28 will take part in the bhumi pujan of the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Kokrajhar at Bedlangmari, around 12 km from here. The Director of UCO RSETI RK Saha said the BTC Chief has given his consent to lay the foundation stone for the construction work of UCO RSETI building at Bedlangmari. The UCO RSETI invited the concerned stakeholders to attend the auspicious ceremony to make it a grand success. It may be noted that RSETI is a bank owned/managed training institution under the aegis of the MoRD, Government of India with active co–operation from the State governments. The objective of establishing RSETIs in each of 622 districts is to impart short term residential training free of cost to rural youth of below poverty line to become successful entrepreneur. UCO RSETI trained 716 numbers of rural youths up to February, 2014. All rural youth of Kokrajhar district should take this opportunity to be imparted training free of cost for self employment/entrepreneurship to sustain their livelihood through local demand driven activities.
