Monika is in recovery. Early surgery !! Doctor came out and chatted. Said she did great in surgery ..update: They ended up needing to treat azygos ( heart ) vein, renal ( kidney)vein and both jugular veins. She has two areas ( one in neck where skull sits on it) and one in kidney area that are compressed that they cant treat . Nerves inflamed and busting through -- renal area abnormality will need treatment at some point but more dangerous so will wait for symptoms if/when they develop. During surgery, they detected an issue with her port placement where there is a line essentially draining in/out of heart cavity . Needs intervention very soon. Tomorrow, I will get the referral for these issues and a cardiologist that specializes in Dysautonomia . A path we are on.... Feel in good hands and a dynamite team working to help my girl progress. ❤️
