Morning Inspiration with James Merritt When you read Josephs story it does have a happy ending. He went from being a dreamer, to a worker, to a prisoner, to a ruler. There was a secret to his success. There is a reason why Joseph made it from the pit and prison to the palace. In Genesis 39:2 we are told, The Lord was with Joseph. In verse 3 we are told, His master saw that the Lord was with him. In verse 21, The Lord was with Joseph. And in verse 23, the Lord was with him. The only New Testament commentary on Joseph, Acts 7:9 reminds us, And the Patriarchs, jelous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; but God was with him. In all those tough times and those times he was getting what he didnt deserve, all those times he was taking lifes worst shots and those time life was at its most unfair, God was with Joseph.
