Morning bratpack, tis a manky one..wet and cold, the wind would scalp the arse off ya! Got a lot of decluttering done yesterday in preparation for painting, dogs are no respectors of decor. Ive promised jordie this will be the last Christmas we spend in this house. Spoke to the auctioneer so giving it a facelift before we take some pictures, not a great time to sell but is it ever? Discussed it with you know who, who was as helpful as usual as regards giving a hand to sort out the leaking roof and a few other things that need doing. I need to try get the best possible price as Im the one wholl be responsible for keeping a roof over my daughters head for the next few years. His response..you do know I own half, right? Hopefully I can walk away with enough to get a small place thats easy to heat and maintain, much as I love the peace here the winters are a trial trying to get jordie to school and myself to work. Weve been looking at places in the neighbouring village where jordie goes to school, this would alleviate the fees for the school bus plus theres a regular bus service into longford if weather was too bad to drive to work. It has pretty much everything from butchers, post office, library, some good places to eat for special occasions, theres even a bus service to dublin. New year, fresh start, time to make it a little easier on my nerves and who knows might even be able to start putting a little aside..I hate the fact I have no emergency fund.
