Moses had married a Cushite woman, and Miriam and Aaron criticized(express disapproval of) him for it. Numb12:1 TEV I guess Zipporah (Moses wife) was a Cushite but not by lineage. Her father was a Priest of Midian(Exo3:1) who might have been a decendant of Abraham(Gen25:1-4) but Cush from Ham(Gen10:6-). If am right, then, Moses didnt marry from outside. Moses was the youngest among these three siblings but did that give them right to choose for him who to marry? -Why did this criticism come at this time? -Was marriage the root cause of the criticism? Brethren, how do we treat Ministers of God with our words & actions? -What are we using as cover-up for our jealousy? -How wide has our gossip gone? And how great wil our punishment be? -How deep has jealousy eaten us? Even towards our siblings,parents,children,friends,ministers,co-workers,etc? Lets repent from our wrong-doings and our God wil freely pardon. More grace to the faithful & saving grace to those outside Christ. Amen
