Most things dont get under my skin but this....this is absolutely ridiculous. This film might as well be a modern day minstrel show. NEWS FLASH: Ancient Egyptians were black. Period. King Tuts corpse is not dark due to age or mummification. (Look up the ancient European mummies. Their skin pigment was still intact.) He was just that black when he walked the Earth. Is it so hard to believe such a great civilization was created by Africans? We seem readily to accept the aesthetic of Ancient Rome and Greece, yet we just have to whitewash an AFRICAN civilization? Ummm yea no. Secondly as an actor, how dare you Hollywood?! There is an abundance of amazing black actors to easily cast for these roles. While I plan to boycott this movie. The saddest truth is that this movie is confirmation that ignorance and racism are alive and well in Hollywood and this country. P.S. Lastly dont dare try to simplify such a complex issue and tell me race doesnt matter or it was an oversight. Thats pure nonsense. #OverIt
