Mt. Carmel, IL – Incoming new or students transferring to Wabash Valley College need to be registered for College Orientation! Students who have not registered are urged to call Student Services, 618-262-8641, ext. 3102 or 3104, for information on attending any of three Orientation sessions which will be held on the following dates: Friday, August 2; Tuesday, August 6; or Tuesday, August 13. The program begins at 8:00 a.m., with sign-in registration beginning at 7:45 a.m. in the Brubeck Arts Center Theatre. Orientation will provide students the opportunity to learn more about: Success Inside the Classroom, Making Time For It All, Access to Online Services, Student ID Pictures Taken/Also Use as Library Card, Finding Your Class Locations, More About Financial Aid Resources, General Policies, and Career Assessment! A complete campus tour is included, and lunch will be provided on campus. Don’t miss this great opportunity! This program can help you navigate through college life and career options – which can ultimately lead to successful experiences in college and beyond! Students are reminded to bring a picture ID with them in order to obtain their WVC Student ID, purchase books, and make tuition payment. Also, they should bring money for payment for textbooks, tuition, fees, and meal plans on campus or provide credit card (Visa/Master Card) for these services. If for some reason students cannot attend the Orientation class, they must contact the Student Services Office at 618-262-8641, or toll free at 866-982-4322, ext. 3102 or 3104 as soon as possible. This on-campus portion of Orientation is required prior to the beginning of Fall Semester classes. Fall Semester classes begin August 15.
