They never question their leaders about fulfilling campaign promises, it is seen as normal because even individuals don’t always keep promises. 3. Happy people. They will not be bothered with their leaders increasing their emoluments 2 or 3 times, especially after removing subsidies so that the leaders can afford the expensive mealie meal, fuel etc in order to continue providing good leadership. 4. Forgiving people. They will not demand that their leaders discipline violent and disorderly cadres. The cadres can even attack people in a church praying for a better constitution and get away with it. 5. Faithful people. They believe in the wise decisions of the leaders to borrow more money in order to finance development, a bloated cabinet and the benefits will trickle down to every poor person in the long run. 6. Honest people. They will not question why each ruling party uses the Public Order Act to oppress divergent views but they will say that the opposition parties are nowhere to be seen. 7. Generous people. They will not ask why their leaders and relatives suddenly become rich once they get in power. Whoever tries to bring out concerns is asked whether it is his/her money, why s/he can’t show their bank account details or that of their parents? It is the people’ money so let the leaders and their relatives enjoy until the next leaders come in and do the same. 8. Dedicated people. They never question the calibre of the leaders to vote for, in most cases the only selection criterion is tribe. Whether the person elected will improve the wellbeing of everyone doesn’t really matter. 9. Strong people. They never ask why their leaders seek medical attention abroad while the local health services struggle to offer acceptable services. It is because we are strong and can do well with the available facilities in our country. 10. Loving people. They love everything about their leaders
