My Amityville Horror Moment of the Day®: Last night when I put in my earplugs, I started faintly hearing a sound like random piano keys being played (Mary?!? Is this OK??!?). I decided it was ringing in my ears being interpreted that way, and settled down to go to sleep. I felt a little >drip< on my forehead. Hmmmm? Is this when the blood starts dripping from the ceilings? Then there was a large >BLOP< of liquid on my forehead. Folks not in NH, theres no snow anywhere to be found - weve been dry as a bone for awhile. Even my sleep-addled brain could work out it wasnt coming from a leaky roof. I popped up out of bed and managed to slap the light on the bedside table to on. I believe one of the super-genius cats I live with put his front paw into the little cup of water on the table and then shook it, splattering water everywhere. I strongly, strongly believe it, because otherwise I have to pack up and move.
