My First Born Moses Chucky Parker, Jr. My Son, God is so amazing! I stand in Awe of Him. Yesterday! Yesterday! Yesterday! Sunday, June 29, 2014! As I sat and watched the Anointing of God in action- in and through you on yesterday! I ain’t gonna lie….. I was, am, is and always will be a Proud Momma… My Precious Seed! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!! My mind goes back to 1987, you were only ten years old and as I sought the Lord for direction for a “Home Church” that He-God wanted to plant us in. You know that as your Mother, I was not playing any games. But I was torn as God confirmed formerly, “St. John Missionary Divine Baptist Church, now Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries (CFC), our home for the past 27 years, because you didn’t want to come to CFC. You didn’t want to leave your friends and come to that old church…. But, I knew that my seeds were “Blessed” and I knew that it had to be a special church, with a special people… but most importantly, with a Special Leader to nurture you, my son. For I was not about to let no devil in hell get a hold of you and corrupt what God had placed on the inside of you... You are destined for Greatness! I can remember standing at Pastor’s office door one day and I shared with him that you did not want to come. Yes! I knew within my heart that this was the place to be and that God had planted us there from the very first moment that I walked across the threshold of the then, main sanctuary door on the 2nd floor of our old building. I can imagine how Hannah felt when she gave Samuel back to God as she had promise. For, I can remember Pastor embracing you and saying to me that you were going to be alright. At the moment I had to release you too and trust God at His Word: “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. The Growth- The Maturity- The Revelation Knowledge: that was exemplified on yesterday can only be a product of Spending “Quality Time” in the Word of God!!! To do that at any age is wonderful! But as a young man! To that magnitude! Was living proof of your sacrifices and self-denial of one’s own pleasures! The move of God on yesterday also, showed the evidence of a great impartation from your “Pastor/Daddy/Father/Mentor in the Gospel, none other than the Great Apostle himself: The Rev. Dr. Joel David Rudolph, Sr. What an honor it is for “you” to sit at his feet and glean and to be called “Son”. I don’t take any credit for what God has done and is doing in your life! I love being your mother and I love the bond that we share. And I will continue to shout with a loud voice… “Now…Thanks be unto God who has made my heart glad, glad, glad! Because he has anointed my Lad, Lad, Lad!”. (LOL) But... I will serve notice on satan…. “No weapon that is formed against Moses M Parker, Jr. shall prosper…” Isaiah 54:17a ….. and I will instruct you to… Watch as well as pray! Don’t be swindled-tricked-cheated out of your inheritance; another way of putting it is: don’t be deceived into thinking that the enemy is not sitting around all inconspicuous waiting for the opportune time to cause you to sin. Romans says it best: “Don’t you remember how it was? I do, perfectly well. The law code started out as an excellent piece of work. What happened, though, was that sin found a way to pervert the command into a temptation, making a piece of “forbidden fruit” out of it. The law code, instead of being used to guide me, was used to seduce me. Without all the paraphernalia of the law code, sin looked pretty dull and lifeless, and I went along without paying much attention to it. But once sin got its hands on the law code and decked itself out in all that finery, I was fooled, and fell for it. The very command that was supposed to guide me into life was cleverly used to trip me up, throwing me headlong. So sin was plenty alive, and I was stone dead. But the law code itself is God’s good and common sense, each command sane and holy counsel. Romans 7: 8-12 (MSG)” BE STRONG! BE ALERT! STAY FOCUSED! On another note: HALF-TIME IS OVER! YOUR SECOND HALF HAS BEGUN! AND OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO RUN! BUT YOUR PURPOSE DRIVEN DESTINY WILL NOT SUCCUMB! TO THE BLUNDERS YOU HAVE DONE! #proudmommy
