My Refuel Alarm, a project I am working on (might take a few months to perfect). Its low tech so any schmuck who has a very basic understanding of electronics could build one. In short a 9Volt bell (powered by a wall transformer) rings when the temperature drops below a certain level (the temp activation is via a simple, cheap thermo switch). Drawbacks : thus far, keeping it simple It only sounds once a night, once it sounds you turn it off, needs to be reset in the morning if you want it to work the next night. I am currently devising a way to have a quick reset, am planning to add a thermo switch than will fire at a higher temperature once I do so. These switches also come in handy for keeping air circulation fans off until a desired temperature is reached. Anyways so far it works like a charm but needs a different rated switch, I need to devise a way for quick reset.
