My View : GANDHI PARAYAN is the biggest epic on Mahatama Gandhi... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mahatama Gandhi is the only personality of India,on whom the largest number of books has been written in the World. Not only Indians, but British scholars and other scholars of other countries had also written thousands of books on Gandhi ji. Still books are being written on him to day. His personality was so great, that writers are not able to describe it in books.. Gandhi Parayan is the only biggest Hindi-Epic on Mahatma Gandhi. It is just like Ramcharit Manas. It contains 21000 Couplets, Coupais and Sorthas. This great Epic contains 648 pages . This biggest epic is worth-singing like Ramcharit Manas It was published in July 1969, by Sahitya Sadan, Ajaigarh ( Panna ) M.P. All India Radio Bhopal and Indore had broadcast it continously for six months in Gandhi Centenary year. It covers the whole Life, Thoughts and Philosophy of Gandhi ji. Every incident and aspect of Gandhi ji , has been explained in it. The great poet of this great volume is Late Shri Ambika Prasad Divya ( Veteran Poet, Novelist, Author, Artist and Revolutionist , of Ajaigarh ( Panna) M.P. ). Divya ji had written 60 valuable books and had painted 400 paintings in his life time. These two closing dohas may explain the touching feelings of Divya ji- Goli hi se lag rahi, hai dukh ka yaun saaz, Bapu poori ho rahi, katha tumahari aaj. Ag jag ka mangal karey, avinav de yah gyan, jis se manav bansake, tum sa divya mahan .. March 16 th is the birth day of Divya ji. He was born on 16th March 1907 at Ajaigarh( Distt.Panna) M.P. , India. We remember Gandhi ji and Divya ji, every year on 16 th March and pay our regards to both the great personalities of India, one is Greatest Man and another is great Poet. Like · · Share
