My brother is a GENTLEMAN. He treats me with great respect, admiration, care and consideration. He listens and responds when I speak. He is willing and able to disagree w/o devaluing my opinion. He opens doors and gets my coffee first. He wears his heart on his sleeve and trusts me not to trample on it in any way. He is intelligent and knowledgeable about many things. But quick to entertain new thoughts and ideas. He is affectionate and kind and loving. He longs to make others smile - especially strangers. He says hello and wishes them a good day. He is patient and will wait for his turn and does not want to inconvenience anyone else. He has DSL internet service because he is not in any hurry and it saves him a few dollars. He loves his children and does not blame them for his failures as a parent. I am so grateful to have this time to be in relationship with him. Thank you Father, God for the cancer that has brought us together and thank you for the good report from the doctors that it is still shrinking even though there has been no treatment since June. I am grateful for what ever time you give us. Amen
