My constant quest for self humiliation reached a new milestone in Spar this evening. After meeting a friend in the store we discussed at length what meals to cook for the evening, looking for something healthy and quick, before I settled on Shepards Pie. At the till my friend joined behind me where I spied he had only a large box of teabags and about 5 refresher bars. I says So you decided to lazy it out and just fill up on the auld rubbish ha?!, twill make ya fat out!! Before turning and looking my friend in the eye who, has it so horribly horribly happens, turns out to be a (overweight) middle-aged man Ive never seen before in my life... Sorry?!!! He says looking highly bemused/ horrified at the abuse hes purchase has received. Even the guy behind the counter is speechless... My quest for the bottom of the barrel continues..
