My cousin Jarred is Autistic. He doesnt take the classes other students take. In school, as a senior, he goes out and does these jobs. Hes worked at the police station, a car lot, a hospital, all kinds of things. I was just thinking about it and why is it the normal kids dont do that? We can still take our core classes and do everything we need by our junior year, but as seniors we could do things like this. Because what Jarred does now he can put on a resume to help him get a job easier. The reason most business wont hire kids is because they dont have experience.. Well, if schools allow students to do the same program the disabled students do then itd be easier for kids to get jobs.
