My coworker encouraged me yesterday. I am a 1st year teacher. I only taught 1/2 year of HS. But he told me yesterday that I was such an inspiration to him. He said I needed to be downtown to train teachers on paperwork, classroom management and other skills. He said Kristen, you keep yourself together and you may not know it, but these girls model after you. He also said You dont need a man. Lol, errrrrrr. Pump ya breaks sir. But it made me wonder about the guys who want to approach women like myself. Educated, independent and do not necessarily put so much emphasis on careers, degrees and if you love us right we love you back 2x right. Hmmmm. I wonder who thinks that my personality is too strong. I am that person when business needs to be handled and in my classroom. If you ask Brittni B-Rocka Octavia Shakir she will tell you how much of a fool I am. I can mingle with ANY crowd. I am a thug, lady and business woman. Do NOT be intimidated by that. If you are, then stay where you are!!! All my girl friends are the same educated, street smart and witty. But, I totally appreciated him telling me. My love for education and singing operates together.
