My dad locked us out of the house one night in February in 1970 - TopicsExpress

My dad locked us out of the house one night in February in 1970 when this song was number 1. My mom, baby sister and I had to climb up a ladder to the bathroom roof till he passed out so we could climb back in thru the window. My best friend Jacky and my missing again aunt Betty turned up to climb up and join us too. To keep warm, mom, Jacky and I sang along w The Supremes and acted out their moves on the snowy roof over Pittsburgh to my cassette recorder, which I was never wo, copy of this song. Aunt Betty was in disguise wearing a black Afro wig, being wanted for questioning over the mysterious burning down of the potato chip factory next door, and tossed the wig to my mother saying, Here, Audree, you take over now. Ill be Diana Ross and sit this one out! And she did, So we could be, closer to heaven. :-* Happy Birthday Mom!!! (((
