My daughter Abbie was diagnosed with Multi system LCH in May 2009. It turned our family upside down and made life especially difficult for our son lee who was 8 at the time of her diagnosis. During Abbies 3 & half years of treatment lee had to go and live with his aunties because my husband still had to work and being a hgv driver couldnt work & still take him to school ect so it was better for lee if he went to live with his aunts. I still feel especially guilty this had to happen to him and with the hospital being so far away I only got to see him once a week at a weekend. He has had to grow up a lot quicker than most young boys. He was and continues to be a fabulous big brother to Abbie. #histiochampions
