My day was the day from hell. I had to make room for a new tank for the guys installing the new well and pump. Then I had to make an emergency trip to the rehab center where my father is recuperating from a knee replacement to bring him some things, thus making me late for class. After lunch I jumped in my car to get home and see how the well guys where making out. They had left for lunch and as I entered the basement I could see water streaming out of a pipe. Not something the well guys did it was an old fitting from the hot water heater joining pex to copper. I shut off the water and while surveying the damage realized my bed, laptop, back up drive, school books, and two ukuleles had been soaked by spray when the pipe let loose. This evening though, I got lucky. Not only did I get to view this gorgeous sunset on my way back to school but now Im home and my laptop is still working.
