My father in law is chaperoning an Honor Flight tomorrow; with the government in shut down, the memorials on the Mall are all closed. Veteran groups today knocked down the barriers, but “We’re looking about how to deal with this in the future,” Park Police spokeswoman Carol Johnson said Tuesday. So, I am not sure if the Kansas Honor Flight will happen.
