My first half marathon is almost 2 years is in the bag. This was the most hill infested course Ive ever done. I thought Nashville and the Flying Pig were hilly, no, this one was a whole new category. Ive sure the one that laid out this course once worked for an evil scientist designing torture chambers. But it was ok and as a training race for the Goofy it was perfect. I noticed that as I was passing the 11 mile marker, Adam Ant rocking out Goody Two Shoes, on the iPod, that I was right on the training pace I wanted even with the hillage. Official time was 2:51:36.
