My friend Karen read a story over the weekend about a mom who had so much on her busy plate but instead, spent the time she could with her family. Not all the chores got done but at the end of the night, the thing her child remembered was that she was the best Mommy in the world. Today I decided that I didnt need to sleep until noon - although I wanted too. I didnt need to mop the floor - which was sticky - I didnt yell because nothing got done over the weekend while I was gone - and I didnt do the laundry because my kids wanted to go play at the park. Im now choosing not to make dinner at home because my kids are dying to go to the movies with their BFFs that we havent seen in over a month. Im choosing to make memories with my children today!
