My girl, As I sit here tonight and know tomorrow the Judge will set his trial date tomorrow; I realize I miss you now as much as the second the Detectives told me you were gone! Time has not healed my heart as people have told me so. I want peace, and I want to know how life can Ever be the same without you my girl... Not a moment goes by that you do not creep into my head., and if I am not reminded, YOUR son reminds every second of everyday! He is YOU!!!! He has been asking for you lately, and I tell him you are with God, and he continues to want to know when you are coming home. This my child will never be an easy task. He is not near old enough to begin telling him the story, although he is having a bought of sleep walking and saying somethings that are difficult to hear, I can only assume he is remembering something from you. One day, when he is old enough, he will be told the story of why you are no longer here with him., and my heart & soul already are shattered as I know the pain will NEVER go away for his loss! I have said it a million times, I still expect you to come through my door and say Momma its me! Gia still looks for you at the door. I guess she was your dog, and not Codys... I will never stop Britton, until the day he is in prison for what he has done to you. Your sister & the foundation will continue to fight Domestic Violence, and hopefully we WILL make a difference.
