My goodness Facebook, we sure are opinionated tonight. My humble opinion is this, those people have been through alot, not just in the last few months, but for their entire lives. While I do not wish for violence, I also do not wish for silence. To those who condem them for destroying their own neighborhoods, keep in mind that same neighborhood has been destroying them their whole lives. Every brick is symbolic of institutionalized oppression. If I were trapped in a prison by nature of my birth, Id probably want to burn down my prison too. As rise against said: so open your eyes child, lets be on our way. Broken windows and ashes are guiding the way. Keep quiet no longer, well sing through the day of the lives that weve lost. ..and the lives weve reclaimed! Im Sending love, compassion, and solidarity that way.
