My horror story the first 3 chapters Thank you Nevil Riker I am posting this for you got that, be for warned... its very gruesome... so dont judge since this was based on a nightmare... 13 years ago, April 19th, 1983. She walked towards the entrance hall of the large manor that she called home, unable to sleep, even though the time was quite late to the 8 year old girl. A single lit candle was flickering is bright translucent plasma near one of the many large hall mirrors that was located in the smaller hallways heading towards the main entrance. The small girl, too short for normal girls her age, stopped when she got to the plasmatic light source and turned towards the mirror, blinking at her reflection with drowsy yet focused eyes. She took in her childish appearance, vermiculate, medium length champagne hair which made her willow coloured eyes stand out. A heart shaped face with slight dimpled cheeks and button nose, matching with her almond shaped eyes. Her body reaching a mere 40 inches, while she looked undernourished, almost as if she had not had a bite to eat in weeks, her frail sickly pale skin confirmed it. Her petite figure was dress in a thin, cream coloured tunic that tied slightly on the top, while the bottom hem of the tunic had olive vine patterns running across it. She blinks then suddenly remembers what her real goal was and turns away from the mirror and continues on her trek to the main hall. Closer and closer she got towards the mahogany door, the entrance way to the main hall, not noticing the slightly more rouge colouring to the maroon carpet. Standing in front of the doorway she shivered slightly from the eerie wet, sticky coldness to the carpet on the bottom of her feet. Thinking it as just a drink someone had spilled, she moved on. Upon opening the door to the main hall a strange smell wafted in the air to her nostrils, scrunching up her nose in displeasure she blinked her eyes subconsciously. Forcing herself to walk on she started to note that there was a pool of cold, sticky sludge now that the tops on her toes were submerged in, trotting back toward the lit candle she brought it back with her to the hall and gaped in shock at what she saw. Blood… it was everywhere in pools on the ground of the large hall, she tried to comprehend why so much would be there on the floor and rushed down a separate hall trying to head for the ball room of the manor only to be greeted with a gruesome sight. Blood covered the walls of this hall, and worse yet, bodies nailed upon the walls in a line down directing who eve was there to go the way they were head, or to ward them away. She recognized them as the servants that she grew to know so very well when she was brought into this family, but now she saw them with their eyes gauged out and rib cages torn open and eagle spread. The female servants were disemboweled; their mouths open wide in what would have been to scream, if their throats hadn’t been slit in the first place. The rail of nailed up bodies led towards the west wing where the ball room was located. She screwed her eyes shut and ignored her gut feeling of telling her to escape; she needed to find her family. Following the rail of bodies and shuddering as each step she took in the disgusting, coagulating blood and finding herself evermore closer to the ball room. She started too noticed the closer she got towards the ball room the louder a song started to play: ~Deep in your eyes Hidden by childish wonder I see through your disguise As temptation pulls you under~ She stopped in front of the two large cherry-wood doors to the ball room the song ever louder to her ears. Bracing herself and taking a deep breath she walked in slowly only to stop. Catching sight of a man, she froze on the spot. The man had the grin like that of the Cheshire cat plastered on an alluring aristocratic face. His teeth were pearly white and sharp to a point, sharper than any normal human. His skin, although pale, looked healthy and smooth. His eyes, catlike with slit pupils, were coloured a supernaturally glowing acidic yellow. His eyes shimmered dangerously, yet alluringly and seductively. Almost like a wolf luring a lamb into his open maw. His hair was shoulder length, with a slight wave and a tad bit of wildness to it, it shined and shimmered more than black coral or onyx, a rich shade of ebony. ~With my Eyes of laughter My careless dancer, A feminine disaster I am your haunting necromancer~ He wore a suit that would have been a starch white if it were not for it drenched in blood of the dead occupiers of the ball room. The rest of the ball room was painted in the colour of life; every other resident of the manor was there, all of them slaughtered brutally and messily. The girl was so shocked that she could not scream, causing amusement to light up in the enigmatic man’s eyes and his Cheshire grin to widen slightly. ~Here I see, Hearing these soulless whispers Knowing that you will be My favorite prisoner~ He rose slowly, only adding to his height. Making his way towards her, taking his time as she was still frozen in her spot he smirked predatorily at her doe like eyes. When he reached her he bent down on one knee and aligned his mouth with her ear, “Does it scare you? Does it... terrify you darling little Emelia? Does something stir within you seeing the rest of the Winterbloom family lies slaughtered at your feet? Are you frightened? Or… do you take pleasure in this, beautiful sanguine arrangement I made especially for you?” He whispered into her ear, his voice was easily comparable to melted exotic dark chocolate with a mix caramel, as seductive as a serpents whisper.
