My latest 1/6th project. Here we have a German grenadier of the 5th Waffen SS Viking Division as he might have appeared during the Warsaw battles in 1944. This soldier was totally custom built, weathered and positioned in a realistic pose. I really dig the head sculpt, as he is grimacing, which of course under the circumstances would be most appropriate. It is so boring to just have my figures stand there, so I thought I would get creative and make an interesting battle pose. Here the grenadier is taking cover behind a wall, awaiting orders. I lightly weathered him, but will apply the powders when finished. I would welcome any suggestions and/or position changes that may enhance this look.
