My mom must be made from the rubber of a super ball! She bounces back so many times! This morning she is wide awake, alert and able to respond to questions with either a nod yes or no.. Her color is FAR better than it has been! The ONLY downside to this is she doesnt realize how much better she is!! Shes still afraid and depressed with her illness lasting so unbelievably long.. today marks 2 consecutive months in the hospital. She started to cry and shake her head no when we told her how much better she looked and how wonderful it was to see her bright blue eyes... I felt bad at her response, but I truly understand why shes down... a few days ago we were certain death was near, just shows us no one but The Lord has the say in that one! Again, the road to recovery and gaining her health back enough to be released is a long, bumpy ride, and though it has smoothed out a bit, theres sure other curves and cliffs to be aware of as we travel down its path...
