I realize that posting facebook statuses or articles or videos may seem trivial, and I strive to do more, but to ignore any situation in which innocent lives are being taken is to be an accomplice to a great tragedy. Through raising awareness for Gaza, for Syria, for Egypt, for Burma, for Central African Republic, for Somalia, for Iraq, for Malaysia, for China, and all those suffering around the world, I hope that at the very least I can influence whoever scrolls through their feed to keep the oppressed in your thoughts and prayers.
