My name is Launa Gordy and this is my Thrive experience. I am the mother of three amazing kids (23,19 &15) and two beautiful grandkids (5 & 3) as well as book-keeper wife to a self-employed husband and this is my Thrive experience: My story started with a little green DFT foam and a lady by the name of Amy Long. We were at a PALS class and I saw the DFT foam and was curious enough to ask what it was. She told me briefly what Thrive was and what it had done for her and gave me a sample. I was actually at a very low point in my life, the stress of being an Administrative Assistant in the ever changing world of healthcare, a daughter in the middle of a divorce, a son going through the Fire Academy and a brand new teenage driver. Add to that various health challenges; including mental and emotional stress, intestinal issues, back discomfort, and being overweight. I pretty much spent my evenings curled up on the couch after work and going to bed when the sun went down. My weekends consisted of the household shopping and laundry, I didnt have the energy for anything else. The first day of Thrive was also my sons graduation, all of our family was in town, enough to wear anyone out. Not only did I play hostess, but afterwards we all went to the local dirt track to watch my my husband and his team race. I can remember saying numerous times that I just felt like I could finally breathe, and having family members comment on how they hadnt seen me so talkative. It was 2:30 in the morning when I finally made it to bed and I could hardly go to sleep. The next day I created my free customer account and received a message from Amy. We talked off and on the next couple of days and I decided to become a promoter. That was the moment my life changed, in the past eight weeks Ive become my happy self again, lost 7 lbs, and find myself being the last one to go to bed most nights. Did I mention that with the support of my wonderful husband, friends and family I hit my VIP 800 and received my iPad mini???
