My next article, What is Tachikiri? 立切とは何？ is now posted at my blog: asaikarate/blog. I want to thank Sensei Johnson of Sierra Shotokan who corrected my English. I introduced Kendo to explain what Tachikiri training is. I also covered Mas Oyama, Kyokushinkai and its very challenging training, Hyakunin Kumite. You will also find an interesting experience of one Tachikiri by Sasaburo Takano (photo below left), one of the Kendo masters. In addition, I spent a lot of space on Tesshu Yamaoka (his statue, photo right) and his amazing background. You will also learn how he died and why he is my life model.
