My political views and dedication which have changed,a long posting but written with a great deal of thought: As of today, 11/09/14, at 2:42 p.m., I have decided register and vote as an Independent. I have, for decades, voted straight Democratic ticket... I love all the Democratic ideals and philosophies, but I have NO respect for those Democrats who did not get out and vote, youre lazy and have no right to complain when you go down the tubes; I love all my friends and family who are Republican and voted that way, it doesnt change my love for them; I just dont care for the monetary decisions that seem to govern the Republican politicians at the expense of the rest of us. I am a senior, Im on SSI, I am disabled, have Medi-care and Medi-cal, with additional insurance I pay for to take up the slack, I live in a low-income building, which by the rents charged is ill-named...and I am afraid, really afraid for what may become of me because of my financial limitations -- which, even in its minimal help may be taken away by Republican political moves, by mostly white men who have no sympathy or empathy for citizens like me... I was hoping to leave the world a better place for my two grandchildren, but it doesnt look like thats going to happen... I think that Barack Obama has done a superb job, I dont appreciate the Republican politicians who lie and manipulate to hide these successes; and I dont appreciate the Democratic politicians who have dedicated themselves to fear and personal advancement not supporting the man who could have helped them win the recent elections... I have believed, for a long time, that women could govern this country better than white men and I believe a woman should be the next President... and I am really sincerely, with every fiber of my being, asking in a very loud spiritual voice for God to please Bless America!... blv
