My position is pretty clear on committing troops to conflicts around the globe, NO! Not without a congressional declaration of war! With the chicken hawk congress we have now, that should not be to high a threshold! We have no draft, we have no sense of shared sacrifice, nor any idea what war really is! If the mission is just, and has everything to do with US!, not the personal vendetta of a presidential family, then sell it to us! The "War powers act" should be repealed now! Even though I trust our current President, constitutionally, the war powers act, has involved us in war after war, death after death, atrocity, after atrocity! None with the feet to the fire oversight of the chicken shit congress! Buck passing Chicken Hawks!
