My response to my Congressman. Congressman If you really believe this and I hope you do, then I have a Challenge for you. Push true Campaign Finance reform. Do not allow Campaign Contributions from anyone that can not vote for a Candidate. IE.. If a Candidate Knowingly accepts a Contribution from someone that can not vote for them then they should automatically become ineligible for the Election, and the Donor should go to jail for the length of time the the Candidate would have been in office. Second suggestion for you is to push for an Amendment to the Constitution that would prohibit the Government from passing any law that does not apply equally to every Citizen. Just Laws must apply equally to everyone. The 14th Amendment already say that we have equal protection under the law, but we have many laws that are anything but equal. When you pass legislation that targets specific groups then that legislation can not by definition apply to everyone, and does not give equal protection.
