My thoughts on Flight MH570. I have been following this - TopicsExpress

My thoughts on Flight MH570. I have been following this story since the flight was declared lost. Known facts are that the aircraft transponders were disabled, no emergency was declared, the aircraft changed course radically, radio contact ceased, the engine monitor indicated that the aircraft engines were operable for a minimum of eight hours, and that at least two passengers with bogus passports were admitted before the flight with a payment of cash. The rest is fantasy and supposition. My instinct is that the two unknowns plus the flight crew were involved. Scenario One: The flight crew admitted the unknowns and then lowered the cabin air pressure to kill all passengers and attendants not directly involved. The aircraft was then taken to Iran via Bangladesh, Nepal, passed over the Himalaya Range, then northeast behind the Range to the Karakoram range to the Afghanistan border. There are many natural features to hide behind and altitude for that aircraft would be no problem. Both Ranges have numerous passes and valleys that could be utilised. From Afghanistan, the Paropamisus Mountains could provide further cover until the Iranian border was crossed, then to final destination. Scenario Two: Perhaps the flight went Southwest to avoid Indian airspace and flew at low altitude (less than a thousand feet) until it arrived in Iran. The aircrew certainly knew where radar coverage had gaps or was non-existant. All passengers and other crew were certainly dead before the first hour of flight. The terrorists took no chance of a heroic effort by the passengers. The Goal: I think the strategic goal is to re-purpose the aircraft into a flying nuclear bomb to destroy Tel Aviv or to attack some other densely packed city, possibly New York City. The Boeing 777 can carry fuel enough to transit nearly all oceans and could ghost in close below another legitimate flight or spoof the electronics in any other way. The livery of the aircraft would surely be changed to that of any other airline. Thanks for reading, and God Bless America!!
