My wife and I viewed the movie Alone Yet Not Alone on Fathers Day - TopicsExpress

My wife and I viewed the movie Alone Yet Not Alone on Fathers Day and we were both deeply moved. The story rang true in our our minds. It did not glorify the actions of the colonial Americans nor of the Native Americans but realistically depicted what happens when fallen men and women from radically different cultures find themselves intersecting in the midst of a conflict involving dominance, values, ambitions and beliefs. The power of Christs love to enable His people to transcend horrific situations and impart forgiveness to their enemies was impressively conveyed throughout the movie. Lutheran-Christians who are interested in some of the history of the Lutheran Church in America will definitely enjoy this family-friendly movie. - Pastor Kurt E.
