My worker is actually pretty good. Shes not really supposed to - TopicsExpress

My worker is actually pretty good. Shes not really supposed to clean if she has to move stuff off the counters. Shes not required to clean under stuff so theres crumbs under the toaster oven and microwave. I spilled flour on the dish rack last winter and it stayed there until the new lady came and she cleaned the dish rack and counters very well. But any explanation of services are verbal, so how does anyone know if theyre getting proper service??? My beef is not with the worker. What she does, she does well. I think she goes beyond, yet how would anyone know. My question is this. If I have trouble knowing what Im entitled to, how does anyone know? People who need homecare are often in distress. Some are poor or disadvantaged. Some are mentally challenged and difficult to deal with. The worker gets paid about ten dollars an hour. Everything is verbal. All that is written is light housekeeping You can see, just after service, there is clutter by the microwave, which is technically not required work for my worker to do, but she often goes beyond. She did a really good job cleaning around the coffee makers which I can hardly reach. She had to move them to clean around them. This is why its such a big deal for me. It rips me up between the legs and groin to wipe the counters.
