NATICK PARADE CANCELLED. SEE PETER MUNDYs note below: Greetings, Based on all weather information available at this time AND in the interest of safety not only for the participants in the parade but also the spectators along the route, it has been decided to CANCEL the 2014 Natick 4th of July Parade. Thank you to Tom Sivak, Bruce Weisberg, Lt. Brian Lauzon (Safety Officer Natick Police Department), Rich Whelan (Meteorologist and Natick resident) and Jon Marshall (Director of Natick Recreation & Parks) for your input in making this difficult decision. The forecast is just not conducive to ensure a safe event. The Town of Natick web site has been updated, as will the three Natick Pegasus channels, and a reverse 911 phone call is being made to all Natick residents. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and support. Sorry that we are not able to have the 59th Annual Parade, but look forward to having a great one next year for our 60th! Be safe this holiday weekend, and please remember to take a moment to say thank you to those who have given their lives so that we are able to celebrate our nations birthday freely. Sincerely, Peter Mundy Co-Chair 2014 Theme - Proud to Be From Natick! 2014 Grand Marshal - The Ordway Family
