NERD NEWS NOW!!! COMIC-CON EDITION!!!! OK so Comic-con is going on right now and the news coming from there pretty much blows all the other stuff I had out of the water. So here we go, the low down on a whole bunch of awesome movies and TV shows that you should be looking forward to. I really cant start this off any other way other than saying, we finally got a look at Gal Gadots Wonder Woman!!! During DCs presentation they showed off a brief teaser for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Which apparently features Batman on a rooftop with the bat-signal, which he then shines on Superman flying above. The two of them stare each other down, fade to title. Ok thats cool, but then they showed Wonder Woman. And I have to say Im impressed, Gal Gadot wasnt my first pick for this role, but shes obviously getting into shape, the costume looks great without looking silly and she looks good in it. Now that its together we have an amazing look at the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. The design for Ultron and his minions are spot on, and then we get to see Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver!!! And whos that floating in the background behind Quicksilver, its the Vision!!! And he has his cape!! This movie is going to be amazing and Im sure Ill have some big news come next week after Marvel has had their panel on sunday. Well we just got a few name drops!! Rodam, Mothra, and King Ghidorah were all mentioned in a teaser film. Now I dont know if all of them will make it into a single movie but heck Id take any of them. Well just have to wait and see, and of course even if only one of them shows up in Godzilla 2 you can bet this is the start of a trilogy. Now this is all in the planning stages so far, and no one knows exactly how big a part Bruce would have in it, but it still an exciting and hilarious prospect. A new movie called Skull Island was announced the end of the trailer shows the giant ape howling into the night. Skull Island is the name of King Kongs home so this may not be just a King Kong movie but something more. The bigger question is, will this movie be connected with the new Godzilla? Could we actually get a new take on Godzilla Vs. King Kong? I can only hope. The most notable being Lucy Lawless as a long time Agent, Isabelle Hartley. Nick Blood has also been announced as Lance Hunter a British operative from a unit called STRIKE. We also got a pretty funny teaser featuring Agent Koenig who makes mention of an Agent Mockingbird whos ready and willing to join Coulson and his group. Mockingbird is another high level agent on the level of Black Widow and Hawkeye.
