NEW TOUR ANNOUNCED!!! This extraordinary example of mid-century architecture is considered by many to be one of Arthur Cogswell’s most inspired residential designs. Built in 1969 as his personal residence, the home won an AIA North Carolina Design award in 1971 and was one of the first homes in the state to be built around a courtyard pool. In the interest of preserving the home, Cogswell’s daughters have partnered with Phil Szostak of Szostak Design, Inc. and Modernist real estate specialist Emilie Huin, Realtor to oversee a partial renovation and to bring the home to a place where a new owner can take it to the next level in confidence. Join us AUGUST 16, 10-1 for the 1969 Arthur Cogswell House Tour 308 North Elliott Road, Chapel Hill ncmodernist.org/tour.htm North Carolina Modernist Houses
