NKJV MARK 2:3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4) And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5) When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” The paralytic who was brought to Christ for healing received far more than he dared to anticipate, the need for which he may not have recognized. By means of the divine touch of God he was delivered not only from the paralysis that bound his body, but from the paralysis that bound his soul. By just one touch, he was reunited, redeemed and restored to his loving God. This, O LORD, is the miracle You perform on my behalf. I praise YOU, O God, for this incomparable experience, and the daily assurance that my sins are forgiven. Amen.
