Name that free, liberal society in which people are treated and judged solely as individuals, regardless of their race or any other such criteria? There is no such society. In America, the white have more privileges than any other race. In England, the English have more privileges than any other race but in Yorubaland, the so called most educated race in Nigeria, Yoruba citizens have the same privileges as Igbo in Lagos for instance. It is a shame, therefore, that Banks, Telecommunication Firms and other businesses in Yorubaland employ equal numbers of Yoruba, Igbo and others in their businesses. It would be more sensible to insist henceforth that 90 per cent applicants for jobs be reserved first for Yoruba citizens in all Yoruba states in Nigeria, otherwise, there may be violence over jobs now or before 2015. This is no discrimination against or in favour of any group but the standard in every society to safeguard the welfare and interest of its people. Too many Yoruba citizens are in North America and Europe with requisite qualifications but practically unable to attain their full human potentials due mainly to the sham unitary system in Nigeria that forced them abroad. There is need for social engineering by Yoruba politicians for whom real change is more important than tokenism. And that real change is #TrueFederalism. Tinubu or Fashola being the VP to a Gambari is tokenism. It will not bring about the real change in Yorubaland. True Federalism or outright division of Nigeria is the only real change for Yoruba people.
