National Terrorism Public Alert System has Australia at a HIGH level of alert. There are four (4) levels. We are at 3. For those who dont know or just couldnt be bothered to want to find out, Level 1: Low, means a terrorist attack is not expected. Level 2: Medium, means a terrorist attack could occur. Level 3: High, means a terrorist attack is likely. & Level 4: Extreme, means a terrorist attack is imminent or has occurred. While the public alert system may not effect your day to day life, it is important that you are aware that these arrangements exist. Stay vigilant to minimise the risk of a terrorist attack occurring. Take precautions and report suspicious activity to the National Secuity hotline 1800 1234 00
