My client are looking for experienced consultants to join their Banking Practice based in the UK. They are seeking consultants with the following expertise: Strong business analysis, consulting and change management experience in Debt/Trade Finance Products in Corporate/Wholesale Banking. A good understanding of Trade Finance business processes and core trade finance products such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees and Standbys etc and Trade Finance SWIFT messages (category 4 and 7) is essential, allied to an understanding of more recent Trade Finance product developments, regulatory change and wider Transaction Banking. Strong experience in working on one of more Debt/Trade Finance COTS products (such as Misys TI Plus, Misys Loan-IQ, CSI-BankTrade, CGI-Trade Manager or ACBS from FIS) will be an added advantage. Your experience is likely to have been gained from working within a Banking organisation in the UK and/or a Consulting firm in the UK, but your Debt/Trade Finance expertise can be global as well as UK centric. Experience in IT enabled, as well as Business enabled change is important. Youll work with our clients business and IT teams to provide leadership, define requirements (including in Use Case format and describing the interaction between users and systems, and leveraging tools such as RRC), re-engineer business processes (using a variety of techniques) and implement lasting solutions. As a Consultant you will be expected to work as a team member on Consulting Projects or as an individual consultant working with a client. Youll assist in developing the consulting practice through the definition of thought leadership, building collateral and other artefacts to support our business growth. You will also contribute to Business Development opportunities in both Consulting and wider IT Services opportunities requiring consulting input. Required Experience Essential 1.Domain expertise in some/all of the areas listed above. 2.Project and consulting experience, ideally in the UK Corporate/Wholesale Banking marketplace. 3.Capability to advise customers on defining problem statements, an approach to deliver solutions, and the ability to develop and present compelling value propositions. 4.Experience in interacting with the business, requirements gathering and elicitation, preparation of business and functional specifications and the ability to work with technology teams. Experience in the development of interface requirements is valuable. Experienced in business process modelling, data modelling and the development of business cases. Exposure to Target Operating Model design. 5.Very good analytical skills, communication skills (both verbal and written), very good stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in large teams, as well as the ability to lead small consulting and business analysis teams. 6.Demonstrable consulting skills - across Data Gathering, Problem Solving, Interpersonal, Networking and Presentation skills. 7.Strategic and Learning agility - the strategic ability and capability to apply your expertise to clients problems, a real hunger for learning and development and the personal attributes to tackle the challenges of a career in consulting and business analysis. 8.Strong academic background. The vast majority of our existing team have a post degree qualification such as an MBA.
