KEY DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE: Day To day contact with production and commercial representatives. Administrative smooth running of the ISO 9001 quality system / ISO14001 / BRC Packaging Product Safety Aspects. To positively track and record all production waste through the plant. To report all complaints received on our Proquis software. Tracking, recording and archiving of production samples and colour standards. Cover breaks for production team as required. Work a shift rotation and provide cover in accordance with the companys flexible working To actively promote a positive Health & Safety culture. Possess a clean driving license. SCOPE: The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate all aspects of the Integrated Management System, and carry out internal audits for 9001/14001/BRC. To advise, recommend and review all aspects which would improve customer satisfaction and increase the quality profile of the company. To advise and support the Production Manager in establishing all aspects of good manufacturing practices. To manage the functions of the quality laboratory. Local coordinator of product stewardship (includes product safety and customer inquiries on safety, hygiene and environment). Visit customers and suppliers sites as required to investigate internal and external quality complaints to a root cause level. PERSONAL SPECIFICATION: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels, with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent administration skills and background knowledge in ISO or other quality systems. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general good level of I.T knowledge. HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent experience desired.
