This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team where good food and great hospitality is of the essence. This position would be suited to an ambitious, creative and passionate Chef looking to be part of an established team of 4 consisting of Head Chef, Part-time sous, commis chef and a KP. The ideal candidate would join with the owner and service manager to further develop the business. All food is made fresh to order including daily homemade fresh bread and all meat is locally sourced and butchered on site so a real bonus for those chefs who can appreciate the benefit of this. The required hours of work would be approximately 55-60 hours a week on straight shifts 12-9pm and set days off would be Monday and Tuesdays. You must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef and be able to maintain a high level of hygiene and work to a consistent GP. The inn boasts a 150 seater restaurant and serves approximately 250 - 300 covers weekly. The owner is looking for someone to settle down into a permanent role and further his/her career.
