New Zealand is pleased to announce the expansion of New Zealand Development Scholarship awards to include all CARICOM states and the Dominican Republic. The following fifteen countries are eligible to apply for a New Zealand Development Scholarship: Antigua and Barbuda; Bahamas; Barbados; Belize; Dominica; Dominican Republic; Grenada; Guyana; Haiti; Jamaica; St Lucia; St Kitts and Nevis; St Vincent and the Grenadines; Suriname; Trinidad and Tobago. New Zealand Development Scholarships are being offered to Caribbean nationals (including Bahamians) for the first time. Scholarships are offered at the post-graduate level for study commencing in July 2014. Scholarships support study that will assist in the sustainable economic development of a students home country, with preference given to study in: Agriculture, Disaster Risk Management; and Renewable Energy Applications should reach New Zealand institutions by 2 December 2013 so please pass on to all interested persons.
