New update. As soon as his chest tube output decreases to 50 mL per 8 hr shift they will do a CT then removed the tube. His culture reports of the abscess have growth and needed further testing. As soon as that report comes back he should b able to come home w oral antibiotics. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday. His hemoglobin dropped again so he is getting 2 units of blood tonight. But all other labs seem to b stabilizing. Things def sound better now than earlier. Praying hes home soon. REALLY missing him :-(
