New year, more new changes. Ive notice social media is only effective if youre actually social. I just checked and I have 438 friends, but no clue why? Im pretty sure that I could post the cutest picture of a puppy and say that Ill give $1000 to everyone that likes it and it would still get at most 50 - 60 likes. I really enjoy looking at everyones pics, hearing about their adventures, or even whatever random thought is on their mind. I have learned that some people, I may have thought I liked at one point, are really annoying now or that I have absolutely nothing in common with them. On the other side, Ive found a lot of people that I didnt really know well before, or had lost touch with over the years that are really awesome and I almost feel that I lost out on not getting to know them earlier. That being said, my news feed is often filled with people that may be nice people, but are ones that have never commented or even liked one post Ive ever made. Social media goes both ways and I feel like Im missing posts from some people that I dont want to miss for peoples posts that I just feel like I must be part of their fan clubs. So Im gonna clean some house again, so I can see more of you that actually matter and dont worry, if you actually read this ... youre not one of them!
