Sachin Tendulkar, too, finds his name as the head of the household with his wife Anjali, daughter Sara and son Arjun as beneficiaries. The Tendulkars address is “420”. Former Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting’s name has been listed as the family head and beneficiary along with four other Pontings—Rikly, Micky, Rosy and Rimi. Above information obtained from the state governments Rural Development Agency under the Right to Information ( RTI ) by the NGO Goa Parivartan Manch (GPM). The NGO alleged that money was being siphoned off in the implementation of UPAs flagship scheme in the state by making payments to bogus beneficiaries. GPM convener said that wages of Rs 100 per day for 150 days were made in the name of aforesaid celebrities and even their spouses and children.
