Next Sunday kicks off a momentous week for me. Following what was a truly enjoyable learning experience for us both as Yellow Mustang Music took its first steps into the daylight with Tobys Autumn Tour Im proud to kick off the first of what I hope will be many York Music Showcase nights in partnership with Tallulahs Bedale. With three great young people taking the stage ( Vicki whos songwriting and vocals helped create the much admired sound of Dream Of Apollo, Toby whos talent left venues across the tour wanting more and a relative newcomer to the York music scene with a great voice and a growing repertoire and reputation Jake) and a hostess in Hildy whos creating something special for music in the Dales it promises to be a lovely night. The following Friday is ofcourse the launch night for the first ever public Yellow Mustang Photography exhibition @the fossgate SOCIAL. Live & Local will primarily feature my shots of York/Yorkshire bands and venues and will kick off with six musical talents from within our city walls helping raise the curtain. The nerves will of course turn to adrenalin, the cups of tea to raised glasses (I hope) but regardless your support for any/all of these projects would be greatly appreciated :)
